Kristen Thompson is invested in helping her community grow and prosper. A lifelong conservative, she understands that hard work and opportunity are the perfect combination to build the American dream. She graduated from the University of Oklahoma and has since created several businesses in the commercial construction and hospitality industry with her husband Bryce. Their businesses have created almost 175 high-quality jobs for their fellow Oklahomans.
Kristen believes in investing in her community with time and service. She has volunteered in her childrens’ schools in various ways for years, such as a school bond committee and a marquee sign fundraising campaign. She and her family have been a part of Frontline Church since 2012, where they led a community group for three years and were able to be a part of the Edmond campus launch.
She enjoys serving on the Visit Edmond Tourism Advisory Board as the Mayor appointed Member-At-Large, representing the restaurant industry. She also volunteers on the youth sports subcommittee for Visit Edmond, helping to identify opportunities to grow and attract youth sports to Edmond.
“People Over Projects” is the philosophy of every business Kristen and her husband own. She is committed to maintaining and fostering that same ideology while serving in the state legislature to ensure your voice is heard.
Living in Edmond, Kristen is married to her high school sweetheart Bryce, and together they have 3 children: Brice (11) and Graham (10) who attend Deer Creek Public Schools; and Brooks (4) who attends Holy Trinity Lutheran School in Edmond.
As a mom of three children, two of which are school aged and attend Oklahoma public schools, ensuring our children receive the best education possible is personal to Kristen. She knows we must continue to support our students, educators, and classrooms to see our state succeed. We must also empower parents with any and all resources that ensure their child’s educational needs are met.
A graduate of the University of Oklahoma and a business owner in the commercial construction industry, Kristen also understands our state’s need to support higher education, including our trade and technical schools. We must prioritize educating our children to foster a strong and skilled workforce that contributes to the betterment of our Oklahoma communities.

Kristen and her husband Bryce have started and grown multiple businesses in the construction and hospitality industry and are proud to have created family-supporting jobs in the Oklahoma City metro area. Because of this, Kristen is committed to eliminating government regulations and red tape that keep businesses from succeeding. It is her priority to ensure we continue to attract new employers and job opportunities so that Oklahoma is the best place to live, work, and raise a family.
Connecting our communities through equitable infrastructure has never been more important and prepares our state for the future. Kristen will support innovative ways to improve our state’s transportation and technical infrastructure, without burdening our taxpayers.
Kristen has seen directly the need for Oklahomans to have access to quality healthcare, including mental health, to improve their lives and the lives of those around them. She believes that addressing and treating mental health concerns, particularly in juveniles, will lead to a lower rate of incarceration and an increase in our available workforce.
Kristen is a lifelong conservative who wants to uphold and instill those beliefs in our next generation. She will always defend the right to life of every unborn Oklahoman and is committed to protecting our Second Amendment freedoms.
May 20, 2022 (Oklahoma City, Okla.) – Governor Kevin Stitt today endorsed Republican candidate Kristen Thompson for Senate District 22.
Kristen Thompson is a conservative business leader and job creator who will always put Oklahoma families first,” said Gov. Kevin Stitt. “Having three children of her own, Kristen will fight for parents to have a voice in the classroom and to ensure our kids receive a first-class education. With Kristen in the State Senate, we will continue Oklahoma’s turnaround by keeping taxes low, stopping over regulation of our small businesses, and recruiting new industries that will create quality jobs for Oklahomans. Kristen has my full support and endorsement, and I encourage you to vote for Kristen Thompson on June 28th.”
